Another Busy Day

I am painting an old dresser with mirror in emperors silk, with the dark wax it mellows it to a more Americana dark red...  The flash on my camera brightens this up a bit, unfortunately...   So busy today that I was only able to get the drawers painted, (after repairs) and the mirror painted & waxed...  I really like the way this looks...

A Couple of Wreaths

I had a bolt of fine white tulle so I cut strips and covered this wire frame...  Very Plush...

Added a aqua tulle bow...

I wasn't done, I lit it up, (it is acutally very white but photos don't show that... This was a 7 hr project, cuttin' strips, loopin' 'em on the wire frame times 4, and then wirin' on the lights...  ~Sold~  2.4.12

This is just plain cute, my opinion...   Had a reel of pink wide bias tape, cut strips on the diagonal and again 4 times around the wire wreath, added a white lace bow...  Both wreaths were made from items I already had, reduce, reuse, recycle, rethink, repurpose, redo...   :)
